What is the Global Obesity Summit?

 

The Global Obesity Summit 2010 will bring internationally renowned scientists, clinicians, business leaders, and healthcare policy makers to Mississippi to discuss innovative solutions to the causes of obesity, preventive strategies, and therapeutic management approaches. By bringing together leaders in research, clinical practice, health care policy and industry, the Summit will seek to develop solutions to the emerging obesity "epidemic" that will improve ultimately reduce obesity prevalence, improve patient care, and reduce health care costs.
